Miyazawa Kazutaka competed in SASUKE 4 and cleared stage one. However, both of his runs were all-cut. It's very likely he failed the Spider Walk in stage two due to a big majority of competitors failing. He made a big comeback of missing 22 tournaments and returned in SASUKE 26. It was shown in the trailer that he became the first competitor to fail the Hazard Swing. He missed the following tournament, but returned in SASUKE 28. His run was digested, but it was shown he failed the Rolling Escargot.
Kazutaka holds the second-longest hiatus out of any SASUKE competitor, missing twenty-two tournaments in a row. The current record-holders are Tatayama Masaaki (from SASUKE 3 to SASUKE 29) and Yoshinaga Katsumi (from SASUKE 9 to SASUKE 35), who tied for missing twenty-six consecutive tournaments.
