Midwest Muscle is a team on American Ninja Warrior's team ninja competition franchise. The team consists of captain Tyler Yamauchi, Ethan Swanson, and Kirsti "The Machine" Pratt.
American Ninja Warrior: Ninja Vs. Ninja[]
Midwest Muscle made their team ninja competition debut in Episode 2 of American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja against Dark Horse in Round 1 as Tyler Yamuachi recruited Ethan Swanson and Kristi Pratt for the roster:
- Ethan Swanson lost the first race against Karson Voiles,
- Kirsti Pratt won the second race as Tammy McClure fell on the Tick Tock,
- Tyler Yamauchi lost the third race against Lance Pekus,
- The team won the first relay that came after,
- But they lost the second relay as Ethan fell on the Spin Cycle, and the team was eliminated from the competition.
Midwest Muscle got to compete against Lizard Kings in Wildcard Episode 10:
- Tyler lost the first race against Hunter Guerard,
- Kirsti won the second race as Sarah Schoback fell on the Tick Tock,
- Ethan lost the third race against Kyle Soderman,
- The team also lost the relay race that followed, and they were eliminated from the competition once again.
