Hey again! Hopefully you are well? I've taken into consideration some of the feedback users provided about wanting this wiki to also feature SASUKE which is indeed such an important topic area for sure.
Oh, I did not notice that due to the resolution, I do not know where you managed to find that background but it kind of resemble the intro of Ninja Warrior. Thus, I will give it a green light as well! Good find!
Pardon my duplicate replies above as there are some rendering issues I encountered after clicking the 'reply' button at that time for some reason.
No worries! I actually found the image through trawling ages on Google to try and find some sort of branding I could use for Sasuke. There is barely any promotional material for the show! Here is a link to a similar image.
The one I have used looks a bit different as you'll notice in the link the resolution is quite bad. I had to apply a photoshop filter of sorts to make the image look presentable, but I know it looks slightly different as a result (but not in a bad way I don't think). Do you know where we could find a higher resolution one? --Spongebob456talk
No worries! What I've also done is reach out to the community via that Discussions post I created a while ago. The more input the better - if this can be a community decision that would be great I think. Someone over at that thread has also provided positive feedback as well so hopefully we can implement it soon! :) --Spongebob456talk
Okay so I've had a little feedback but not loads. We could implement it and see if anyone has feedback after it's been implemented - it can very easily be changed. Does that sound okay? --Spongebob456talk
I know that competitors couldn't use their hands at Dome Steps as it would calculate as a disqualification, Levi 's first run is an example. However, at least, why Hioki Masashi didn't be disqualified although he would do the same with Levi.
In my opinion, Hioki had already failed the stage and disqualifying him has no purposes and so they let the results stays as it is. I heard from others that such situation had happened before, probably.
We could do that provided if we know the results and some external information about some competitors if any. Understanding the native language is also a challenge as well as understanding the format used on each version in each country.
Hey YXW! How are you? A while ago we spoke about rebranding this wiki to focus on ANW. We had some great talks but they dried up a little bit. Are you still interested in that project? I started another conversation in that Discord chat we created if you wanted to hop in! :)
Since American Ninja Warrior is still going strong, there is definetely a need to focus more on ANW content in the wiki. Hoever, I felt that both shows should have its own wiki page for their own respective content as SASUKE is still ongoing.
Nevertheless, if this wiki needs a huge revamp/rebrand to focus more on ANW, I would be happy to help.
Hey! Absolutely. I think the wiki will remain the same in that all the associated shows will have their own wiki articles. The key bit I think is a bit of a wiki redesign, with a few more colours and an image to put on the background. What do you think? is it alright if I draft something on a test wiki? :)
Yeah, I meant did you want to participate in the discussion we were having there? The more the merrier! That design on the test wiki isn't final, it was just an initial step. As I say, even something temporary like that might be useful until we get the assets for ANW 2020. Happy for you to suggests images that could be used in the background. :)
Hey there! Great question. No articles will be deleted, this is simply a rebrand of the wiki, to show it covers American Ninja Warrior as well as SASUKE. ANW is where most of the wiki's traffic comes from, and the admins have agreed that the wiki's branding should reflect that. :)
Hey! So I'd like to implement it soon unless there are any objections. Did you want to make the community aware? Only saying as this is quite a large rebrand and you may need to oversee some of the changes. :)
Hello, sorry for the late reply. In my opinion, I find the website to have the sufficient basics functions to progress and has the potential to evolve into a popular ANW page.
Regards to the community, spread the word around that there is a page where more ANW content can be focused there, I am sure a lot of users will want to give their assistance to contribute to the wikia.
No worries! Awesome, I'll implement the redesign now. I'll also post in Discussions that I've done this. I will also look at the main page accordingly to have it fit in with the rebrand. Thanks for your help! :D --Spongebob456talk 14:51, March 26, 2020 (UTC)
Since we changed the color of all the hyperlinks to blue, it really doesn't create a good look combined with the already dark red tables. Do you think you could change that a bit so it's a little easier on the eyes?
Thanks for the feedback! Changing the colours of the tables may be more challenging as each table will need to be edited individually. I may be able to rig a bot though somehow. What colour scheme did you have in mind for the tables? :) --Spongebob456talk 16:22, March 27, 2020 (UTC)
How about the standard table look? I'm talking about just going into the templates and popping a table into an article. But if we do it like that, we should change the table formatting to match the former red ones.
Oh I see, you mean pasting in a new table design and inputting the same data into that new design right? Using that table on articles like SASUKE 27. Do you know roughly how many tables there would be to change? Great suggestion! :) --Spongebob456talk 10:55, March 28, 2020 (UTC)
More suggestions would be appreciated on that if possible please. I'll take a look at how many tables we'd be looking at. If you have an idea too, please let me know! How does that sound? :) --Spongebob456talk 13:41, March 30, 2020 (UTC)
I quite like Shadic's second suggestion, the colours are a bit easier on the eyes. In terms of different colours, we could try incorporating some red or white there in accordance with Ninja Warrior branding. Perhaps not too bright though, but something like that could be an option.
Clear (seconds left)
Something like the above possibly? Up to you guys really, just my input. :) --Spongebob456talk 15:43, March 30, 2020 (UTC)
^What do you think guys? Doesn't have to be the one above, if you all agree on an example from earlier, that's good too. Thinking we should have it implemented soon. :) --Spongebob456talk 14:16, April 3, 2020 (UTC)
I myself have no problem with the table (red-pink and blue) you have suggested above. The colors are not too bright nor dark and the contrast is better. If no one else has any further suggestion, I'll say go for it.
Great! I agree it could be overhauled at the moment just trying to make everything look consistent. Do you mind if I edit the wiki's navigation to include more Ninja Warrior content? --Spongebob456talk 16:14, April 24, 2020 (UTC)
Hi, in terms of improvements to the infobox, the user may be referring to the bit where it mentions "SASUKE Competitions". Perhaps that can be amended to reflect other competitions covered on the wiki?
I will take a look at the nav box to see if I can change the colours. :) --Spongebob456talk 16:23, April 26, 2020 (UTC)
No worries! Thanks to your feedback on this too, I really appreciate it. There are a few other templates I noticed that need a colour scheme update and I will work on those, along with the main page to include the other shows. --Spongebob456talk 15:18, May 22, 2020 (UTC)
Okay cool! So I have updated Template:Infobox television to have it the same colour scheme as the navboxes and also made it portable which came along with that.
I think that's most if not all the templates sorted - are there any I may have missed?
Secondly, I want to address the feedback now about making this wiki feel more like a Sasuke and Ninja Warrior Wiki rather than one or the other. Are there areas you feel I could add some Sasuke to do you think? --Spongebob456talk
Are you fine with adjust my role to Bureaucrat so that I can handle more administrative roles, like adding more to staff? Loona and I believe TotallyKate should be added to staff as we personally know her and her contributions have been more than sound.
