Max Feinberg is a college student who is originally from McLean, Virginia but now resides in Denver, Colorado.

Before he competed on American Ninja Warrior, he was a competitor on American Ninja Warrior Junior in the 13-14 age group. He made it to the top 16, where he was eliminated by the eventual winner of that age group Vance Walker.

He also wears a shirt saying “1 in 8 is not ok” with pink colors, to promote awareness for breast cancer.

American Ninja Warrior 13[]

Max would have originally made his first ANW appearance on American Ninja Warrior 12 in Washington D.C. thanks to the lower age limit.[1] However, because Covid-19 ended up modifying the season as a whole, he had to wait another year. Ultimately, he got to compete in his first season in ANW 13.

Max competed in the third qualifier round. His run was digested, but it was shown that he cleared the course in 6th place and moved on to the seminlfinals.

He later competed in the first semifinal episode. There, he put up another strong performance. He managed to once again clear the course, being the first one do so in that episode. He placed 3rd overall and moved on to the national finals as a rookie. It's worth noting that he cleared just one second slower than Brian Burkhardt, and just missed out on being the youngest competitor to attempt the Power Tower for a chance at the Safety Pass. He was also the only competitor in the episode who chose to do Inverter at Split Decision and also clear it.

During the national finals, his Stage One run was digested, but it was shown that he finished the course. On Stage Two, he had a good run, until he couldn’t get his legs on the pendulum on Hammer Drop, ending his rookie season.

American Ninja Warrior 14[]

Max returned for his second season in the third qualifying episode. His run was digested, but he once again cleared the course, doing so in 4th place. He later competed in the third semifinals episode. His run there was digested, but this time he failed on the eighth obstacle, Box Office. His time to the obstacle placed 15th overall, just good enough for him to advance to the national finals for his second straight season. On Stage One, his run was digested for a third time, but he finished with 17.49 seconds left. On Stage Two, his run was digested for a fourth time, but he got revenge on Hammer Drop and later finished Stage Two, along with his good friend Kaden Lebsack and many others. On Stage Three, he failed the third obstacle, Chop It Up and it was the eleventh best performance of the season.

American Ninja Warrior 15[]

Max returned for his third season in the fifth qualifying round. His run was digested, but he cleared the course for his third consecutive season, placing 3rd overall. He later competed in the first semifinal episode. His race against Brian Beckstrand was digested, but Max triumphed over Brian and advanced to the national finals. On Stage One, his run was digested for a third time, but he shockingly failed The Gambler, ending his season.

American Ninja Warrior 16[]

Max returned in the third qualifier. His run was yet again digested, but he completed the qualifier once again, placing 6th. He competed in the first semifinal episode once again and was in the first semifinal race of the season, racing against his friend, Ethan Gardulski. Max was behind Ethan throughout most of the race, but fortunately for him, Ethan slipped on the Spin Hopper, opening the door for him but not before displaying sportsmanship by shaking his opponent's hand before he pressed the buzzer, and he would proceed to beat the course once again and secure a spot for his fourth consecutive appearance in the national finals.

In the national finals, his run was digested on Stage One, but he completed The Gambler this time around, and went on to finish Stage One with 07.84 seconds left. In Stage Two he raced against Caleb Bergstrom. He was able to clear the course, but due to the format change, he had to race in the runoffs to be able to advance. In the runoffs, he faced Jackson Twait and failed the Falling Shelves, ending his season.

American Ninja Warrior 17[]

Max returned in the fifth qualifying episode. His run was digested, but he hit his fifth straight qualifying buzzer, once again placing 6th.

Max later competed in the second semifinals episode. His run there was also digested, but he cleared the semifinals course for the third year in a row, placing 7th overall to secure his fifth consecutive appearance in the national finals.

Max is set to compete in American Ninja Warrior 18.
