Matsumoto Yayoi (松本弥生) was an olympic swimmer, who represented Japan at two summer olympics.
Yayoi first competed in KUNOICHI 2017 SUMMER, wearing #41. She made short work of the first three obstacles. However once she reached the end of the Fish Bone, she tumbled down to the mats below.
Yayoi later returned in KUNOICHI 2018. This time she wore #45. Her run was partially cut. She was shown beating the fish bone, for the first time. However her success was short lived, as she failed the trampoline jump to the Dragon Glider bar.
Yayoi later returned in KUNOICHI 12, this time wearing #2. She was the first competitor to attempted and clear the new Screwdriver. She ended up once again falling on the Dragon Glider, going out at the end of the obstacle this time around.
