Because of the age eligibility drop in American Ninja Warrior, Owhadi was able to compete in American Ninja Warrior 10 at the age of 19. Because of his massive experience, Mathis Owhadi was able to dominate the qualifying course in Dallas, blazing through most of the obstacles despite being a first-time competitor in the regular season. He attempted the Mega Wall but barely missed out on scaling it, barely being able to grip one hand on top. However, Owhadi managed to scale the regular 14'6' wall on his one attempt and finished the qualifying course with the 4th fastest time. Owhadi also finished the city finals course, qualifying for the national finals in 5th place.

In Stage 1, he was the final runner of the first half of the national finals, and became the second-youngest person ever to clear Stage 1, with 40.29 seconds left on the clock, the overall third-fastest time of the First Stage. However, he was unable to beat Wingnut Alley of stage 2. Ultimately, Kid ranked as one of the top rookies of American Ninja Warrior 10, along with Zach Day and R.J. Roman.
