Marquez Green is a college student from Madison, Wisconsin. He and his twin brother, Nathan Green, ran the course after losing their mother to breast cancer at an early age. Both competed in American Ninja Warrior 11.
American Ninja Warrior 11[]
They competed in Tacoma, where Marquez was the later of the two to run. After seeing his twin brother come up short on the second obstacle, Marquez cleared it and later finished the entire course, placing 11th.
During the city finals, however, he failed the Lightning Bolts. He placed 20th overall.
American Ninja Warrior 13[]
They competed in the fifth and last qualifying episode. This time around, they had a bet going on, in which the twin that did the worse of the two would have their head shaven by fellow competitor Taylor Amann. Marquez's run was digested between Nathan's profile piece, but he failed on Sideways, the fifth obstacle. Nathan failed the same obstacle, even going out at the exact same spot. However since Marquez made it the obstacle faster, he won and avoided having getting his head shaven. Nevertheless they both still qualified for the semifinals. They both later competed in the fourth and last semifinals episode. Both of their runs were cut, but they both failed Drop Zone and did not make the top 15.
American Ninja Warrior 14[]
They returned for their third season in the third qualifying episode. This time around they two different trophies. A "best brother" trophy for the twin that did the best out of the two and a "you tried" trophy for the twin that did the worst out of the two. His run was digested, but he surprisingly failed on just the second obstacle, going out on the Rollercoaster, making it the first time that he didn't advance to the semifinals. His brother ended up doing better than him, getting to the fifth obstacle Salmon Roll, winning the "best brother" trophy and also advancing to the semifinals without him.
American Ninja Warrior 16[]
Both Marquez and his brother returned to compete American Ninja Warrior 16 in the third qualifiers. His run was digested, but he failed on The Cubes, once again falling on the fifth obstacle. He placed 11th overall and advance to the semifinals with Nathan (who got his first buzzer on the show). In the semifinals, he raced against his good friend Jackson Twait. Marquez ultimately lost the race as he failed the Spin Hopper, while Jackson completed the course, and he didn't move on.
