Margarin (まぁがりん), formerly Marko (まあ子), is a 51-year-old owner of a gay bar in Tokyo's Gay Quarters.

He is the first known gay man to compete in SASUKE.

In SASUKE 8, He wore #42 and quickly failed the Godantobi like half the field did that day.

In SASUKE 9, He wore #31 and it was revealed his name is now Margarin, he stripped his shirt off and danced for the crowd at the start line, during his run, the Rolling Maruta slid down the track and seemed to be scared of the Ōdama, after he failed, he was seen wailing and trying to get out of the water.

While he has not competed since, during Pride Month 2023, SASUKE Producer Inui Masato visited his gay bar and interviewed him about his time on SASUKE. He reacted to his SASUKE 9 run, and it was revealed he has a sports background, which was probably the reason they invited him considering SASUKE in the Higuchi era specifically looked for people with athletic talent.
