Malte Komm competed in NW Germany 5 where he would make it to the Finals but failed at the end of the Rolling Log in Stage One. He would perform much better in NW Germany 6, clearing Stage One and barely clearing Stage Two as he experienced a malfunction on Dragonback where the wire got stuck on the obstacle but managed to save himself on the dismount. On Stage Three, he would fail Floating Boards. In NW Germany 7, he would clear the semifinals but not in a fast enough time to move on to the Finals.
