Luke Beckstrand is a high school student from St. George, Utah who first competed on the second season of American Ninja Warrior Junior. He is the younger brother of Kai Beckstrand and the younger son of Brian Beckstrand and Holly Beckstrand.

Luke first competed in episode 2 of American Ninja Warrior Junior 2. He faced off against Collin Cella in the seeding round but shockingly lost. Then in the next round, he faced Aubriella Hairston in the knockout round and won that race, advancing to the final showdown. He then defeated Emily Keener in the final showdown, advancing to the Quarterfinal.
His Quarterfinal runs were shown in the first Quarterfinal episode and he faced Taylor Greene in that race and lost, ending his season.
American Ninja Warrior Junior 3[]
Luke competed in the first episode in the 13-14 division. He lost to Jordan Carr in his first race, and then he once again lost to Taylor Greene in his second race.

Luke made his American Ninja Warrior debut in the fifth qualifier, competing alongside his brother Kai and his mother Holly. His run was digested, but he completed the course in his rookie debut in 5th place, moving on to the semifinals.In the semifinals, Luke raced against Drew Nester in a digested performance. Drew failed Sideways, while Luke managed to beat the obstacle, securing him a spot in the national finals. Despite his semifinal run not being fully shown, he failed the next obstacle, Spin Hopper.
Luke was digested on Stage One at the national finals. He would have an impressive run, clearing Stage One with 20.79 seconds left on his rookie season. His older brother, Kai Beckstrand, also cleared Stage One after his run, making them the first ever sibling duo to clear Stage One in the national finals. On Stage Two, it was revealed that he was racing against Nacssa Garemore, Luke had the lead throughout most of the race but shockingly failed the Epic Air Surfer, which Nacssa cleared, ending his season. He was also the top rookie of the season and the only rookie to make it to Stage Two this season.
Luke is set to compete in American Ninja Warrior 17, along with brother Kai, father Brian, sister Baylee, and mom Holly.
