Lorin Ball is a breakdancer who first competed in American Ninja Challenge 2, but his video didn't make the top 6.

In the first season of American Ninja Warrior his run was cut, but according to Ball himself, he failed the Pipe Slider.

Ball then competed in American Ninja Warrior 2 and placed 26th in the qualifier, but then he was one of many competitors to fall on the Salmon Ladder in the Semi-Finals and he did not advance to Boot Camp, placing 16th place overall.

He returned in American Ninja Warrior 3 and he finished the qualifier in 1:36, but his time was not enough to make the Top 30.

American Ninja Warrior 4

Lorin then competed in American Ninja Warrior 4 and he went much faster than last time, clearing the qualifier in just over one minute which was good enough for 5th place. In the Semi-Finals, Ball got revenge on the Salmon Ladder that took him out two competitions ago and he finished the course, earning him a spot in Las Vegas. In Vegas, Ball managed to clear the First Stage with the second fastest time only behind Derek Nakamoto, but in Stage 2, Ball failed on the Double Salmon Ladder ending his run early.

American Ninja Warrior 5

He returned in American Ninja Warrior 5 in Denver clearing the qualifer in 6th place. In the Semi-Finals he failed the Floating Stairs but was good enough for 11th place. In Las Vegas, he clear the First Stage with the second fastest time behind Elet Hall. This time he cleared the Double Salmon Ladder, but he failed on the Unstable Bridge in the Second Stage.

American Ninja Warrior 6

He returned in American Ninja Warrior 6 and competed in Denver and blew through the course, he then ended up clearing with 1:04.27.  In the Denver Finals course, he cleared the first 6 obstacles at a fast pace, however he had trouble on the Salmon Ladder and failed it again. In Las Vegas, he return as a wildcard. He cleared the First stage with 0:35.29 left on the clock making him clear stage one for the third straight year. On the Second Stage, however, Lorin struggled with the Rope Jungle taking him over a minute to complete it. Due to fatigue, his arms gave out on the Double Salmon Ladder causing him to fail. This is the third straight year that Lorin has failed the Second Stage.

American Ninja Warrior 7

In American Ninja Warrior 7, Lorin blew away Kansas City qualifiers in under a minute with the time of 58 seconds. Lorin than arrived at the finals and making it all the way to the Body Prop which took out a bunch of veterans including Brian Arnold an Isaac Caldiero. Lorin had a fast time that guaranteed himself a spot In Vegas. However, he suffered an injury before the First Stage took place, and he had to be replaced.

American Ninja Warrior 8

In American Ninja Warrior 8, Lorin competed in the Indianapolis region, where in Qualifiers he once again cleared with the fastest time of the night. In the city finals, he shockingly failed the Rolling Log, not advancing to Vegas.

American Ninja Warrior 9

In American Ninja Warrior 9, Lorin competed in the Denver Qualifying and once again finished the qualifying course with the fastest time. Unlike previous seasons, Lorin managed to defeat the Salmon Ladder as well as The Wedge that took out the majority of the competitors that night. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to defeat the new obstacle, Ninjago Roll. He still finished second overall and punched his ticket to Vegas.
