She first competed as a rookie in the fourth episode of qualifying. Her run was digested, but she had a good save on Log Runner, just avoiding from touching the water with her legs. She ended up falling on the Kickboards. She placed 6th among the woman, but because she had the fastest time out of all the competitors who had failed that obstacle, she managed to placed 29th overall, moving on to the semifinals. In fact, she one of seven woman competitors who managed to placed within the top 30 that round. She later competed in the fourth and last semifinals episode. Her run there was also digested, but she failed on the third obstacle, going out on the Air Surfer, ending her rookie season.

Liv competed in the second qualifier for her sophomore season. She once again failed the fourth obstacle, going out on Duck Duck Goose, and landed in 4th place among the women. This meant she would have to compete in the runoff races, going against Ixchel Valentino, who placed 5th among the women. Before the race, Liv's run was shown in fast-forward style.
During the runoffs, Liv seemed to be in the lead, but ultimately failed the Wingnuts. Ixchel completed the obstacle and won against her, so Liv did not advance to the semifinals this time around.
