The Ledge Jump was an obstacle that directly followed the Salmon Ladder as the eighth obstacle in the Miami regional finals of American Ninja Warrior 5.
There were three boards with small ledges on either side that contestants had to navigate. They started by transitioning from the Salmon Ladder bar to the first board. They'll stand on the ledge and hold onto the sides of the board with their hands and then switch sides by grabbing onto the edges. Now they'll have to jump to the second board, switch sides and jump to the third board, switch sides and dismount down to the landing platform. The ledges get smaller and the gaps get bigger.
No one failed this obstacle and it was only used in this one regional finals.
