The Ledge Jump is an obstacle, firstly introduced as the eighth obstacle on American Ninja Warrior 5 during Miami finals.
It consisted of three boards, with small ledges on either side that competitors had to navigate, with the ledges got smaller from the first board until the third board, and the gap between the first board with the second board was smaller than the gap between the second board with the third board.
After completing the Salmon Ladder, competitors must make the transition to the first board, by standing on the ledges and holding onto the sides of the board with their hands. Then, competitors must move to the other side of the first board, and make the leap transition to the second board (in a similar fashion with the Spider Flip), and repeat those processes to the third board, and finally jumped to the landing platform to advance.
The obstacle was proven to be extremely easy, as no competitor failed on this obstacle (likely due to competitors could utilize their feet while attempting the obstacle, resulting competitors could rest their upper-body strength).
