Larissa Eddington Cottle is a concrete worker from Lehi, Utah.

American Ninja Warrior[]

American Ninja Warrior 8[]

She first competed in Indianapolis in ANW8. Her run was cut, but she fell on the Rolling Log.[1]

American Ninja Warrior 9[]

Larissa returned in Denver in American Ninja Warrior 9. Her run was cut from the broadcast, but it was revealed that she failed the Paddle Boards in qualifying, in which she made the Womens' Top 5 and placed 4th there.

In the city finals, she struggled on the Ring Swing, but managed to pull through and complete the obstacle. She also got redemption on the Paddle Boards. However, she failed one obstacle later on the Rail Runner, not moving on to the National Finals.

Larissa also competed as a member of The Hashtag Ninjas, captained by Nicholas Coolridge in American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja.

American Ninja Warrior 10[]

She then competed in Minneapolis in American Ninja Warrior 10. Her run in qualifying was digested, but it was shown that she was one of the many competitors to fail the Ring Jump. She placed 6th among the women, just barely missing out on the Women's Top 5.

American Ninja Warrior 11[]

Larissa returned for American Ninja Warrior 11 in Tacoma. Her qualifying run was cut, but it was revealed that she once again failed the third obstacle, this time being the Barrel Roll.[2] She once again did not qualify for the city finals.

American Ninja Warrior 15[]

Larissa was originally expected to compete in Los Angeles for American Ninja Warrior 12, but never competed due to the COVID-19 halt and being pregnant at the time.[3][4] She didn't compete until three seasons later in ANW 15, having giving birth to her second daughter, Jovi Cottle, in October 2020.

There, she competed in Qualifier 2, where she made it to The Getaway but couldn't compete it. She was the only competitor to fail The Getaway that qualifier. It was enough to place her 4th in the Womens' top 5, but this meant that she was in the runoffs for participating in the semifinals.

During the Q2 runoffs, she was up against Jaelyn Bennett, who placed 5th among the women. Cottle failed Spring Forward during the match, and Bennett cleared the obstacle, giving Bennett the win to the semifinal and eliminating Cottle.

Trivia[]

  • She is the sister of Zac Eddington, who competed in ANW 7 in Kansas City. Her husband, Justin Cottle, competed in Denver alongside her in ANW 9.
  • The broadcast of American Ninja Warrior 15 incorrectly stated that she gave birth to a son prior to competing. Jovi is her second daughter.[5]
