Landon Nagao is a marine veteran who first competed in American Ninja Warrior 10.

American Ninja Warrior 10[]

He first competed in the Miami region. His run was cut from the broadcast, but it was later revealed that he failed the fourth obstacle, Ring Turn and did not move on.[1]

American Ninja Warrior 13[]

He returned to compete in the third qualifying episode. His run was digested, but he once again failed the fourth obstacle, this time being Air Surfer. He came up just short of the top 30, placing 32nd overall.

American Ninja Warrior 14[]

Landon returned for the first round of qualifying. His run was cut, but it was revealed that he failed the second obstacle, Rollercoaster, and once again did not advance from qualifying.[2] For once, he did not make it to the fourth obstacle in a qualifier round.

American Ninja Warrior 17[]

Landon returned for his fourth season in the fifth round of qualifying. His run was digested, but he made it past the fourth obstacle for the first time, clearing Spin Cycle before he failed on the following obstacle Ferris Wheel. He placed 18th overall and advanced to the semifinals for the first time in his career.

He later competed in the second semifinals episode. His run there was also digested, but he got revenge on Ferris Wheel and also made it up the Warped Wall for the first time, before he failed on the eighth obstacle, Corkscrew. He didn't reach the obstacle fast enough to advance, thus ending his best season to date.

Landon is set to compete on American Ninja Warrior 18. It was known via a Reddit comment by him that he was one of the last competitors overall to receive the call to compete, having officially received it only three weeks before the season was expected to start filming.[3]
