Lance Tarvend (ランス・ターベンド) is a Kindergarten English Teacher in Japan.
He first competed in SASUKE 18. He was the first person to get to the Spider Walk portion of the Jumping Spider, but timed out at the Great Wall. However, it was ruled that he went off the course on the Jumping Spider and he was disqualified. Furthermore, since he was the first to attempt the obstacle, he was given a second try at the course. This time, he failed the Log Grip, which he had cleared previously. The judge decided that his second attempt will be the official ruling. He returned for SASUKE 19 and failed the Jumping Spider.
