Kabe Nobori (壁登り) was the final First Stage obstacle for the first two tournaments. Together with Free Climbing, it was called Subduction Zone in SASUKE 1 and Mountain Climb in SASUKE 2 in English broadcasts.
It was simply a wall with rock climbing artifacts on it, in which competitors must climb the wall to reach the button to signifying a clear on First Stage. It was preceded by Free Climbing, which essentially had a same function, with the only difference being Free Climbing's wall was a conveyor, while this obstacle had rigid wall.
A quite easy obstacle, it had a high clear rate, and it was replaced by Rope Climb in SASUKE 3, which in combination with Tarzan Jump that was introduced in the same tournament made the ending of First Stage become harder.
