Josh O'Sullivan, also known as the Modern Mowgli, is a ninja trainer from Miranda, New South Wales, who firstly competed on Australian Ninja Warrior.
Australian Ninja Warrior[]
On Australian Ninja Warrior, Josh clocked the fifth fastest time in his heat (Heat 3). Then, in his semifinal (Semifinal 2), he completed the course, but wasn't fast enough to qualify to the grand final (as he finished in ninth place).
Australian Ninja Warrior 2[]
On Australian Ninja Warrior 2, Josh competed along with his girlfriend and fellow competitor, Betsy Burnett. He clocked the fastest time in his heat (Heat 3) and the third fastest time in his semifinal (Semifinal 4). During the grand final, he went out on the eighth obstacle (the Flying Squirrel to Cargo Net) in Stage One.
Australian Ninja Warrior 3[]
Josh would return for Australian Ninja Warrior 3. He would make it to the Finals once again and this time would clear Stage One. He would also clear Stage Two with a fast time of over 30 seconds. Josh would be the first to attempt Stage Three, where he would give a solid run but failed the Floating Boards like the three other competitors and he wasn't fast enough to reach the obstacle to get the prize for Last Man Standing.
Australian Ninja Warrior 4[]
Josh would come back for Australian Ninja Warrior 4. Despite making it to Stage Three in the previous tournament, he was shockingly eliminated on the semifinals, not being able to move on to the Finals. It is unknown where he had failed.
American Ninja Warrior: USA vs the World[]
Josh would compete in the American Ninja Warrior: USA vs. The World 6 as a part of Team Australia. He competed in the second heat on Stage One where Josh made it all the way to the Diving Boards getting second for the heat earning one point.
Australian Ninja Warrior 5[]
Josh would return for Australian Ninja Warrior 5, where he would make it back to the Finals this time. Unfortunately, his troubles would continue as he shockingly failed the Barrel Roll on Stage One.
Australian Ninja Warrior: Record Breakers[]
Josh would compete in the first ever Australian Ninja Warrior: Record Breakers on the Rising Mega Wall challenge where he would make it all the way to the 6.05 meters height but he nor Ben Polson could conquer it, making them co-champions in the event.
Josh did not compete in Australian Ninja Warrior 6 due to an injury. However, he was seen training Emily Seebohm for the Celebrity Challenge in the first episode.
