Joseph "Joe" Capobianco is the boyfriend of ANW competitor Abby Clark.
He was seen on the sidelines during ANW 10, but first competed on the course in ANW 11.
American Ninja Warrior 11[]
He and Abby both competed in Baltimore. During qualifiers, his run was digested, but it was shown that Joe made it to the fifth obstacle, Crank It Up, before gassing out. However, he was able to place 13th, so he advanced to the city finals.
During the city finals, his run was once again digested, but it was shown that he got revenge on Crank It Up. However, he was one of many to fail Angry Birds. However, he went at a good pace to that point, which was enough for him to place 11th overall and advance to the national finals.
His Stage One run was cut, but he failed the Double Dipper, the same obstacle Abby fell on last season.
American Ninja Warrior 14[]
After missing the past two seasons, Joe competed in American Ninja Warrior 14 in the second qualifying episode. This time, he was referred to as Joe Capo. His run was all cut, but he made it to the fifth obstacle once again, going out on Piston Plunge. Compared to ANW11, he placed one spot lower, placing 14th overall.
He later competed in the first semifinals episode. His run there was digested, but he surprisingly failed the balance obstacle, the Spinning Bridge, ending his season without a trip back to the national finals.

- He shares his first name with Abby Clark's father, Joe Clark. As such, he is often referred to as one of two "Joes" in Abby's life.
