Jonathan Parr is a physical therapist from Austin, Texas that competed on six seasons of American Ninja Warrior.

American Ninja Warrior 5[]

Parr debuted at the Denver Qualifiers and was included in a digest reel of fails. Parr quickly got through the course until facing the Warped Wall. Here, he would exhaust all three of his attempts and come up short. Due to there being 48 clears, it was not enough to move on.

American Ninja Warrior 6[]

Parr returned to compete at the Dallas Qualifiers. His run was all cut from broadcast. He would later confirm himself on social media that he fell on Ring Toss. He got hung up on the peg board and eventually gassed out.

American Ninja Warrior 7[]

Parr would compete for his third season on ANW 7. His qualifying run was shown in full on TV. Parr would have the slowest pace of all the clears, finishing in 4:25:60. He took his time to save his stamina for obstacles like Cargo Crossing and the Swinging Spikes, which paid off. He placed 15th overall and advanced to the City Finals for the first time.

Parr's city finals run was digested. Once again, Parr ran at a snail's pace in order to conserve his energy. He would go at a pace even slower than his qualifying run, taking over five minutes to get to the back half of the course. He would eventually fail the eighth obstacle, the Walking Bar. His pace almost cost him a spot in Vegas, as he landed on the bubble on the leaderboard. But the competitors that ran after him failed to reach the eighth obstacle, and so he claimed the final spot, placing 15th overall.

In Vegas, Parr's Stage One run was shown and he was one of the few competitors to fail the Sonic Curve after losing his balance. This was his only time making the national finals, marking his best season overall.

American Ninja Warrior 8[]

He returned to compete in American Ninja Warrior 8 in Oklahoma City. Parr's run was all cut in qualifying, but he fell early on the third obstacle, Log Runner.

Parr suffered an almost career ending injury on the obstacle, slipping and take a hard fall. He had to be placed on a stretcher and sent to a hospital. There, it was learned that he had torn several key ligaments in his leg.

American Ninja Warrior 9[]

After going through a steep recovery process to rehabilitate his leg, Parr would return for his fifth season in ANW 9's San Antonio regional. His qualifying run was digested and he cleared the course in 4:39:09. He had the slowest clear of the night, placing 16th overall.

Parr's city finals run would be digested as well. Similar to his run in the Houston city finals in season 7, he took extended breaks in between obstacles. Similarly to said run, he made it to the eighth obstacle, this time being Hourglass Drop. Parr got a bad bounce off the trampoline and missed the boards. This time however, his strategy in the city finals would cost him a spot in Vegas. Since so many had got to the Hourglass Drop, he failed to make the top 15, placing 23rd overall.

American Ninja Warrior 10[]

Parr's final attempt would come at the Dallas Qualifiers. His run was all cut, but he'd post his result on his Instagram page. Parr slipped on the Tuning Forks, ending his season.
