Jonathan Bange is a Ninja coach who first competed in American Ninja Warrior 10.

American Ninja Warrior 10[]

He first competed in Dallas where his run was digested, but he failed the Bouncing Spider.

American Ninja Warrior 11[]

He returned in Oklahoma City, where his qualifying run was once again cut, but he failed the Coconut Climb. This time, he did go far enough fast enough to advance to the city finals, as he ranked 22nd at the end of the night.

In the city finals, he made it to the eighth obstacle, the Crazy Clocks, before failing. However, it wasn't enough for him to move on to Vegas, as his pace getting there placed him 17th overall.

American Ninja Warrior 15[]

After being absent for the past three seasons, Bange returned in season 15 in the seventh qualifier. Here, he made it to the fifth obstacle, Lasso Launch, before his grip gave out, equalling his performance in qualifying last season. This was enough for him to place 7th and advance to the semifinals.

In the semifinals, he pulled off a huge upset beating Ian Dory, who fell on Sideways. Jonathan then finished the course and earned his first trip to Vegas.

In his first national finals appearance, he failed the transition to the cargo net on Thread the Needle. However, he claimed the second-to-last spot for Stage Two, placing 23rd. On Stage Two, he went against Evan Andrews, the #2 seed. Bange seemed to have a slow pace early on, but nonetheless secured the win after Evan had an unexpected fall on Jawbreakers. Bange then made it to the Falling Shelves before falling, though he still advanced to Stage Three. He started off strong on Stage Three, but on the Ultimate Cliffhanger, he seemed to tire near the end and ultimately failed the dismount, ending his breakout and best season to date.

American Ninja Warrior 17[]

Jonathan returned to compete in American Ninja Warrior 17 in the first round of qualifying. He was hoping to have another strong season after his previous season. Unfortunately, to the shock of many, his season ended on just the first obstacle Quad Steps, where he made a reckless decision to skip the third step. And with one careless move on the first obstacle, Jonathan went from his best season in ANW 15 to his worst season in ANW 17.

His fall on the first obstacle was arguably one of the most humbling that round, as it marked not only his earliest exit in his career as well the first time since his debut in season 10 that he was eliminated during the qualifiers.
