Jonah Maningo is a 18-year-old from Chino Hills, CA who was previously on the second season of American Ninja Warrior Junior 2.
American Ninja Warrior Junior 2[]
He competed in episode #13 where he won his race in the seeding round against Emme Smith after she failed on Block Run before he also won his race in the knockout round against Anna McArthur. Then he ended up the rematch against Emme in the final showdown, and lost that race, eliminating him from the competition.
American Ninja Warrior 16[]
He made his ANW debut on ANW 16 in the first qualifier. There, he brought some of his mom's salsa for Matt and Akbar to eat during his run. Jonah made short work of the first four obstacles, but failed on Jawbreakers when he accidentally pulled the final bar out of place. He placed 7th overall.
In the semifinals, he went up against his friend Anthony Porter. It was a very close race, until Anthony failed the Spin Hopper, while Jonah was able to complete the course, advancing to the national finals in as a rookie.
Jonah's run in the national finals would be digested, though it was shown that he would fail Jumping Spider on Stage One, ending his rookie season.
