Jona Schöne is a German apprentice carpenter, and a professional Ninja Athlete who as of now has participated in the regular Ninja Warrior Germany Seasons 7 & 8. In Ninja Warrior Germany, Jona Schöne has already evolved from a very promising newcomer to one of the most successful participants in the history of show, and is also viewed by many as one of the best athletes of the more recent regular seasons. After his standout newcomer performance in Ninja Warrior Germany 7, in which Jona Schöne achieved the Speed Pass of the first Preliminary Round and made it all the way to the final obstacle of the Third Stage (achieving the 3rd place of that season), he even solidified his status as one of the best athletes in the following season by making it to the final obstacle of the Third Stage back-to-back (achieving the 4th place of that season).

And even outside of his performances in Ninja Warrior Germany, Jona Schöne is viewed as one of the best of the German NinjaSport, as he was quite successful in many comeptitions, and not only finished in 15th place overall in the German NinjaSport Males division ranking of 2023 with 823 points, but also is currently in 4th place overall in the German NinjaSport Males division ranking of 2024 with 182 points.

Ninja Warrior Germany 5[]

In the penultimate Der Buzzer Danach interview of Ninja Warrior Germany 7, i.e. a post season interview with both Jona Schöne and Philipp Göthert, which was streamed after the First Stage episode of Ninja Warrior Germany 7 had aired on television, Jona Schöne mentioned that he originally applied and also got selected to first participate in the fifth season of Ninja Warrior Germany in 2020. However, about one week before the recordings of that season commenced, he unfortunately broke his collarbone and subsequently had to sit out that season due to this injury.

In the exact same Der Buzzer Danach interview, Schöne also mentioned that he then applied to participate in the sixth season of Ninja Warrior Germany a year later but was not selected to compete.

Ninja Warrior Germany 7[]

After a few years of trying, Jona made his first appearance in Ninja Warrior Germany in the seventh competition in the first preliminary round. Jona was able to conquer the course with the third fastest time and was able to compete on the Duel Course where in the first heat he raced against Julian Lind and was able to conquer the course just ahead of Julian, moving onto the final heat. In the final heat, against Marvin Mitterhuber who shockingly failed Spring Forward but Jona was able to conquer the course winning the Speed Pass. In the semifinals, he shockingly failed just the second obstacle, Swinging Blades which he didn't place in the Top 35 and would have been eliminated if not for the Speed Pass. On Stage One, Jona was the first competitor shown to beat the dangerous Cliffhanger and the first that season to beat the course with just over eighteen seconds left moving onto Stage Two as a rookie. On Stage Two, he was the first runner and he was able to clear Stage Two with eleven seconds moving onto Stage Three. On Stage Three, he was able to get to the final obstacle, Leaps of Faith where he failed the transition to the fourth set of handles getting the 3rd best results of the season.

Ninja Warrior Germany 8[]

In 2023, Jona Schöne returned to Ninja Warrior Germany, participating in Ninja Warrior Germany 8 as one of the fan favouites of the season. This time, he first participated in the second Preliminary Round of the season where he was able to clear the entire course with the third fastest time moving onto competing in the Super Salmon Ladder challenge. Jona during the competition failed the transition to the 12th rung and derailed the bar which made him the only one not to clear it during this preliminary round not winning the Speed Pass. In the semifinals, Jona was one of five to clear Flipped Around and was able to finish the course with the third fastest time (fourth fastest overall with the Speed Pass winner, Lukas Homann). On Stage One, Jona had no problems with the course becoming the second shown to conquer Stage One that season moving onto Stage Two. On Stage Two, Jona was once again able to conquer the course with the second slowest time out of all the finishers. On Stage Three, Jona made it all the way to the final obstacle, the Cliffhanger 3.0 where he failed the transition from the first to the second ledge and failed to hold onto the second ledge, he had the 4th best result from that season.

Jona Schöne has been announced to be competing in Ninja Warrior Germany 9.
