Jesse Maurer is a cabinet engineer from LaGrange, Indiana who has made three appearances on American Ninja Warrior.

American Ninja Warrior[]

American Ninja Warrior 10[]

Jesse first competed in Indianapolis in American Ninja Warrior 10. In Qualifying, his run was cut but it was revealed that he failed the Spin Hopper, he did place 25th overall at the end of the night, so he moved on to the city finals.

In the city finals, his run was digested but it was shown that he failed the Salmon Ladder and just missed out on advancing to the national finals as he placed 16th overall.

American Ninja Warrior 11[]

He returned to compete in American Ninja Warrior 11 in Cincinnati. He failed the Mega Wall in a digested performance (this marks his first and only time to conquer the fifth obstacle in qualifying), but he still made it into Top 30, as he placed 14th overall.

His run was cut in city finals, but it was known that he shockingly failed Slingshot (an obstacle he cleared in qualifying), placing 16th once again and not moving on to the next round.

American Ninja Warrior 16[]

Jesse returned to compete in American Ninja Warrior 16 during the fifth round of Qualifying. His run was digested, but it was shown that he fell on The Cubes. This put him in 13th place and forced him into the runoffs against Brandon Varner. Brandon failed Flying Shelf Grab, which gave Jesse the win and a spot in Semifinals.

Jesse later competed in the first semifinals episode, where he had the unfortunate task of racing Kai Beckstrand, who easily won the race after clearing the course in 36 seconds. Jesse kept going in hope of being one of the top 2 non-winners, but he ultimately failed on last move of Spin Hopper (an obstacle that he previously failed in the Indianapolis qualifiers in season 10), and since he wasn't among the top 2 non-winners, his season once again ended in the semifinals.
