His city finals run was cut, but he was one of several to fail the Floating Stairs. He did not make the top 15 at the end of the finals round.

He returned in Denver for this season. Although his run was cut, he failed the Devil Steps, a remarkably similar obstacle to the Floating Stairs he failed the Denver finals last season. He didn't move on to the city finals that season.
