Jean Tezenas du Montcel is a French design engineer and sports climber who as of now participated in every season of Ninja Warrior France and also in Ninja Warrior Germany: Four Nations Special, as a part of Team France. Jean Tezenas is one of the most consistent competitors in the history of Ninja Warrior France and is also mostly even viewed as the greatest competitor of all time of that show, since he not only became the first participant in the history of Ninja Warrior France to achieve Total Victory, doing so in Ninja Warrior France 4, but he also managed to reach the Final Stage (Tour des Héros) for three consecutive seasons in a row, from Ninja Warrior France 4 to 6 (being one of only four Ninja Warrior/SASUKE partcicipants worldwide to have achieved that feat, with the others being Ōmori Akira, Nagano Makoto and Miyake Ayako). Aside from that particular feat, Jean Tezenas also managed to achieve three consecutive Last Man Standing in a row, from Ninja Warrior France 3 to 5 (being one of only five Ninja Warrior/SASUKE partcicipants worldwide to have achieved that feat, with the others being Nagano Makoto, Miyake Ayako, Alexander Wurm and Morimoto Yūsuke), and he also has the second highest amount of Final Stage appearances in the history of International SASUKE/Ninja formats (at four appearances), only being behind Nagano Makoto & Morimoto Yūsuke. Apart from all of that, he is also seen by many competitors and fans of Ninja Warrior France as their role model, mainly due to his kind-hearted personality, his consistency and due to the grace with which he overcame most obstacles.
In his eight appearances in Ninja Warrior France, he has cleared the First Stage seven times, the Second Stage six times, the Third Stage four times, and the Final Stage once.
X-Warrior (极限勇士)[]
Prior to his participations in Ninja Warrior France, Jean Tezenas had already gained some Ninja Warrior/SASUKE experience and had participated in China's X-Warrior (极限勇士) competition. On this Decathlon United Media profile, Jean stated that during a four months long studies stay in Shanghai, he received a message from a WhatsApp group of climbers who were looking for a European to take part in the programme. And after he replied that he would be fine with that, Jean eventually came to take part in the X-Warrior (极限勇士) competition. He appeared in the eighth episode of that season and would perform very well, not showing any signs of struggle on obstacles, such as the Rolling Log, or the Double Tilt Ladder, and with him also attempting all of the obstacles barefoot. At the end of the day, he would complete the final obstacle of the course (the Warped Wall) in one attempt, and would subsequently clear the entire course without any problem, qualifying for the Finals of the season. After that, however he had to withdraw from the competition and did not compete in the Finals, because he (as he stated) had to return to his home county France before he could have participated in the Finals.
Ninja Warrior France 1[]
He returned for the first ever Ninja Warrior France in the first heat and similar to X-Warrior, his problems with the course were few as he hit hit the buzzer with the fastest time of the night. In the semifinals, he once again cleared the course with the eighth fastest time and moved onto the Finals. In the Finals, he had a bad jump from the Jumping Spider and didn’t get into the chute ending his season early.
Ninja Warrior France 2[]
Jean returned for his second season where he competed in the second heat and once again conquered the course with the fastest time once again. In the second semifinals round, though he struggled with the Arm Rings, Jean conquered the course with the fastest time moving onto the Finals once again. In the Finals, Jean got his revenge on the Jumping Spider, conquering the course with over 130 seconds left on the clock moving onto Stage 2. Jean got through the first two obstacles easily on Stage 2 but shockingly failed the Roulette Cylinder, ending another great season.
Ninja Warrior France 3[]
Jean returned for Ninja Warrior France 3 in Heat 5 where he once again got the fastest time of the night moving onto the Semifinals. In the Semifinals, he once again flew through the course and conquered the course under a minute with the fastest time in his heat and throughout all the semifinals. On Stage One, Jean flew through all eight obstacles once again and got the fastest time once again with 62 seconds left. On Stage Two, he got past the third obstacle, this time being the Salmon Ladder on his way to clear the timed part with 54 seconds, where he made it all the way to the final obstacle, the Flying Bar where he failed the transition to the second cradle but getting the Last Man Standing position for the first time in his career.
Ninja Warrior France 4[]
Jean returned as one of the favorites to achieve Total Victory in Ninja Warrior France 4 where in the second qualifying round, he once again flew through the course only having a misstep on the Mega Wall as he missed it but cleared the smaller wall, once again with the fastest time of the night. In the new side-by-side Semifinals, he raced against Amélie Machado where Jean beat him and conquered the course getting the second fastest time. On Stage One, Jean had few problems with the course and he got the fastest time once again. On Stage Two, he cleared the timed part of the course with 22 seconds left and on the untimed part, he cleared the final obstacle, this time being The Wedge and cleared the untimed course along with two others. On the Final Stage, he was the last runner and had the fastest time on the stage with 7.55 seconds left, was declared the winner of the season, won the EUR100,000, and became the Last Ninja Standing for the second straight season.
Ninja Warrior France 5[]

In the Semifinals, he raced against Stéphane Crichton (who failed Spring Forward) on his way to hit another buzzer, with the second fastest time of the night. On Stage One, Jean had few troubles with the course and got the fastest time of the night once again. On Stage Two, he once again cleared the timed course with 15 seconds left on his way to conquer the untimed course once again (beating the Snap Back) making it back to the Final Stage. On the Final Stage, Jean’s time of 32.45 from the previous season was the new time for the Final Stage where he missed the button by three centimeters before timing out but getting the Last Man Standing for the third time in his career.
Ninja Warrior France 6[]
Jean returned after another great season in the first heat where he once again conquered the course with the fastest time of the night. In the Semifinals, he raced against Marie Colot where Jean once again made it through the course, hit the buzzer moving onto the Finals with the third fastest time. Jean made it through the dangerous Slingshot on his way to hit the buzzer with the fastest time on Stage One once again. On the timed part of Stage Two, he once again conquered the course with 24 seconds left on his way to conquer the untimed part and get his revenge on the Flying Bar. On the Final Stage, after watching Iliann Cherif conquer the stage with over five seconds left, Jean had 26.87 seconds to do it, and he once again timed out on the rope ending another great season.

On Stage One, Jean’s left foot slipped on the third obstacle, Curved Body Prop (marking his first Stage One fail since Ninja Warrior France) and having to play his Joker and on his second attempt got his revenge on the obstacle where he this time cleared the course with the second fastest time going back to Stage Two. On Stage Two, Jean once again conquered the Flying Bar on his way to conquer the course once again. On the Final Stage, the time limit was 25.16 and Jean couldn’t conquer the course once again timing out about 17.5 meters up.
