Jamie Rahn (ジェイミー・ラーン), also known as Captain NBC is a gym owner who resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

American Ninja Warrior

American Ninja Warrior 2

In American Ninja Warrior 2 , Jamie failed on the Quad Steps in the qualifying round in Venice when he didn't realize that the landing platform was angled at an incline.

In American Ninja Warrior 4, This time in Miami, he beat the qualifier in 10th place, but was one of 13 to fail the modified Jumping Bars in the semi finals and he just missed out on making it to Vegas by placing 16th.

American Ninja Warrior 5

In American Ninja Warrior 5, competing in Baltimore he beat the qualifier again this time in 3rd, he also finished the finals in 8th and in Vegas, he beat Stage One with 19 seconds remaining. In Stage Two, he failed the Double Salmon Ladder after transitioning to the second wall set, he slipped off the rungs trying to straighten the bar.

American Ninja Warrior 6

In American Ninja Warrior 6 , Jamie returned with a renewed costume and cleared the qualifying round in St. Louis and also cleared the finals course. However, he failed on the Jumping Spider on Stage One.

American Ninja Warrior 7

In American Ninja Warrior 7, Jamie competed in Pittsburgh. Although he had trouble with Snake Crossing and the Wind Chimes, he was still able to clear them. Then, he became the first veteran to clear the course. He had the slowest time with 6:06.95, and placed 22nd overall. In the city finals, he failed the Invisible Ladder, but placed 3rd there.

He completed Stage One and made it past the Double Salmon Ladder this time, but failed the Roulette Row in Stage Two.

American Ninja Warrior 8

In American Ninja Warrior 8, Jamie completed the Philadelphia qualifying course as one of only nine finishers to complete the course. In the city finals, he failed the ninth obstacle, the Stair Hopper, but still, once again, earned a spot to the National Finals.

In Stage 1, he made a surprisingly early exit on the third obstacle, the Giant Log Grip.

In American Ninja Warrior 9, Jamie competed in Cleveland and cleared the qualifying course placing 11th. In the city finals, he became the first competitor of the night that cleared the Nail Clipper, he defeated The Clacker and the Elevator Climb and finished in 2nd place making it the fifth year in a row that he qualified for the national finals. Overall, Jamie was one of just nine athletes that completed a city finals course that season.

Jamie cleared Stage One for the third time in Vegas but was one of many to fail Wingnut Alley on Stage Two, just missing out on the landing platform. This is his best season to date.

Jamie_Rahn_Goes_Barefoot_at_the_Vegas_Finals-_Stage_1_-_American_Ninja_Warrior_2018 — Jamie Rahn Goes Barefoot at the Vegas Finals- Stage 1 - American Ninja Warrior 2018

In American Ninja Warrior 10, Rahn competed in Philadelphia. Although his run in qualifying was digested, he completed all the obstacles with ease and although he failed his attempt on the Mega Wall, he easily scaled the regular Warped Wall and completed the course with the 4th fastest time.

In the city finals, he finished the entire course, placing 3rd overall at the end of the night.

As a historical run on Stage 1, he jumped from the mini tramp on the Propeller Bar and lost one of his shoes but kept going. He impressively ended up going barefoot through most of the course, becoming the first competitor in American Ninja Warrior history to scale the Warped Wall barefoot, and he ended up completing the course with 7.07 seconds left.

Rahn kept his shoes on for stage 2, despite not having much use to have them on. However, he failed Wingnut Alley for the second year in a row, in which he surprisingly failed the first transition this time around.

American Ninja Warrior 11

In American Ninja Warrior 11 Jamie competed in Baltimore. While his qualifying run was yet again digested, it was shown that he had no trouble with course and he cleared with the 5th fastest time. This was also the eighth season in a row in which he did.

During the city finals, he was going at a relatively slow pace. By the time he got to the deadly eighth obstacle, Angry Birds, he was at a time outside of the top 12. However, he could not complete the obstacle, meaning that for the first time since American Ninja Warrior 4, he missed out on the national finals, as his time placed him 15th.

SASUKE Vietnam 5

He made the first SASUKE international season with SASUKE Vietnam 5, along with some American fellows like Derek Miyamoto, David Campbell and Jon Alexis Jr.. He was the first to clear the Stage 1B with 1:25.36 left. However, he shocking failed right at the first obstacle of Stage 2, Cross Slider, when his foot touched the water at the dismount.

SASUKE 37

He competed in Sasuke 37 as an American Super Hero. He messed up the dismount on the Rolling Hill as he was rushing to get off on the second bottom roller. He knew there was no hope of saving himself and did a give up reaction of it. He was extremely dissapointed of his result.
