Izumi Hikari (泉 ひかり) is a professional parkour performer, who participated in KUNOICHI 2017 Spring onwards.
History[]
KUNOICHI[]
Her first competition was in KUNOICHI 2017 Spring, in which she managed to reach the Final Stage from indoors, but unfortunately timed up on the Tsuna Nobori. A tournament later, in KUNOICHI 2017 Summer, she was given the coveted number 50 (Equal to #100). She proved that her performance was no fluke, and breezed through all obstacles in the first two stages before failing the dismount of the Pipe Slider, ending her run thus becoming the Last Woman Standing and the 1st place finisher for a second consecutive time in a row. This was the first time she failed the BLACK Stage.
She did not participate in KUNOICHI 2018 due to scheduling conflicts.
She is one of the few notable KUNOICHI competitors and Finalists who never got to participate in SASUKE. However, she appeared on a SASUKE Event and cleared a shorter Soritatsu Kabe (Female Ver.) known by Urushihara's YouTube. That might be a signal for SASUKE in the future.
After 7 years of hiatus, KUNOICHI is set to return in 2025. Shortly after the official announcement, Izumi revealed on X that she applied for the tournament.[1]
