Ixchel Valentino is an engineering student from New Mexico who has competed on two season of American Ninja Warrior.
American Ninja Warrior 16[]
Ixchel Valentino competed in the first qualifying episode. Her run was digested, but she made it to Dangerous Waters before failing the course. Her run placed her 5th in the women’s leaderboard, sending her into the Runoffs against Liv Hackmann. Liv had a lead for most of the race but she ended up failing the Wingnuts. Ixchel seized the opportunity and successfully cleared the Wingnuts, winning the race. She stopped her run after completing the obstacle.
She later competed in the last semifinal episode, racing against Isabella Wakeham who was the number one woman seed for that semifinal round. Ixchel was behind, but then Isabella surprisingly failed on Hopscotch and Ixchel cleared the obstacle, giving her the win in a big upset. She later failed on the next obstacle Spin Hopper, but she still advanced to the national finals in her rookie season.
Her run at the national finals was digested, but she wiped out on the first obstacle Slide Surfer, ending her rookie season.
American Ninja Warrior 17[]
Ixchel returned to compete for her second season. However, her run was all cut and she didn't advance to the semifinals this time. It is known that she competed in the second qualifier round. Grant Kiningham ultimately confirmed that Ixchel went out on the second obstacle, the Fly Wheels.[1]
Ixchel is set to compete in American Ninja Warrior 18.
