Ishimaru Kenjirō (石丸 謙二郎) is an actor, host, and announcer who has attempted SASUKE 11 times.

SASUKE 9-17

He, debuted in SASUKE 9 and performed well, on the Odama he nearly slipped into the water, but recovered, and this drained his strength as he was unable to get enough distance on the Jump Hang and fell below. He would fail the Jump Hang in SASUKE 10 too.

In SASUKE 11 he spent 7,000 yen on a trampoline to train for the Jump Hang. It payed off as he was able to match revenge on the Jump Hang only to fail the Soritatsu Kabe.

In SASUKE 12 he recieved a very high number #91 and he performed well up until the Ipponbashi where he jumped too late and slammed into the water.

During the moderate redesign of the course he would fail on the Sandan Rolling Maruta in SASUKE 13, and SASUKE 14.

He missed SASUKE 15 due to a shoulder injury that took approximately 3 months to heal. He did compete in SASUKE 16 where he got his revenge on the Sandan Rolling Maruta that took him out in SASUKE 13, and SASUKE 14. He would clear the Soritatsu Kabe (which he failed in SASUKE 11) in one shot, although he timed out about halfway up the Rope Climb. In SASUKE 17 he had high expectations to clear the First Stage, because of his near miss in SASUKE 16. He was fast through out the course, but he took two tries at the Soritatsu Kabe and timed out atop the Rope Climb.

Shin-SASUKE

In SASUKE 18 he was expected to do well due to his near misses on the First Stage in the last two tournaments, however he fell early on the Rope Glider.

After missing SASUKE 19, and SASUKE 20, he took on the course in SASUKE 21. He performed well and was able to beat the Jumping Spider, and even the redesigned Soritatsu Kabe, however on the Flying Chute he slid down at a fast speed and grasped the rope, only to get jolted off into the water. In SASUKE 22 he didn't jump far enough into the Jumping Spider and failed.

In SASUKE 24 he performed well once again, when he reached the Jumping Spider he jumped too low and his feet slipped and hit the padding on the trampoline, thus disqualifying him.
