Le Cylindre Incliné in Ninja Warrior France 5
Le Cylindre Incliné, translated as the Inclined Cylinder, is an obstacle firstly introduced as the fourth obstacle in the fourth qualification episode of Ninja Warrior France 5.
The obstacle involves a 5.50 meters long cylinder that would spin on its axis. The cylinder would be on a slight incline of 15 degrees with multiple vertical handles surrounding the cylinder with a distance of 75 centimeter per handle.
Competitors must navigate through the series of handles whilst the cylinder moving due to competitor's momentum. Once they reach the last handle of the cylinder, they must make a dismount towards the landing platform to advance.

During its first appearance, it is paired along with Walk the Plank as part of Path B in the qualification course. Due to the fact that most competitors would choose the other path, and competitors failing Walk the Plank, there would only be a few number of competitors who attempted the obstacle.

Ninja Israel 4's Cylinder

On Ninja Warrior Israel 4, the Inclined Cylinder, simply called הצילינדר (Cylinder) appeared as the second obstacle in Heat 6, Heat 10 and Heat 12. Compared to its appearance on Ninja Warrior France 5, there is a rope and stationary bar placed before attempting the obstacle and the cylinder is also arranged in a straight line compared to an angle. Due to the fact that in this season, competitors must complete the first three obstacles of qualifying within a certain amount of time, the obstacle would serve as a time waster as some competitors would clear the obstacle with little time left to attempt the rest of the timed course.
Ninja Israel 4's Floating Monkey Bars to Inclined Cylinder
Later, on the same season, the Inclined Cylinder was combined with the Floating Monkey Bars (בר הקופים) as the fifth obstacle in Heat 7. The stationary bar was replaced by three suspended trays from the Floating Monkey Bars. Due to Heat 7 was the heat for only women competitors, the obstacle was very brutal despite that it would not serve as a time waster due to no time limit for the final three obstacles in the Heats.

- The Inclined Cylinder was one of the few obstacles that won the Obstacle Design Challenge in Ninja Warrior France. With the obstacle being designed by Dorian, an engineering student from Savoy.
- The obstacle is one of the few instances that are known to be created by an international show itself and is not based on obstacle replicas from other competitions such as American Ninja Warrior, SASUKE, and KUNOICHI.
- The function of this obstacle was very similar to the Double Helix in American Ninja Warrior 7 and Vertical Limit Burst in SASUKE 41.
