Hoshan (ほっしゃん) is a comedian and the 2005 R-1 Grand Prix Champion who has competed in SASUKE 23 where he failed the Jyunidantobi in a really painful way. After he cleared the first 11 steps, he slipped on the final step, making him land face first hitting his nose hard. That made many competitors worry as it was evident that Makoto Nagano told to Yamada Katsumi: "Oh, is he ok?". However, he escaped any injury. He returned for SASUKE 24 failing the Jyunidantobi once again.
