NWIJ Hoop Omega

Ninja Israel Junior's Hoop Omega (אומגת החישוק)

אומגת החישוק, translated as Hoop Omega is an obstacle, firstly introduced as the second obstacle in Heat 2 on Ninja Warrior Israel Junior. The obstacle also used in other international Ninja Warrior Junior formats (such as Ninja Warrior Germany Kids), but was not used in American Ninja Warrior Junior, or in any main SASUKE/Ninja Warrior competitions.

This particular obstacle had an incredibly simple concept, as unlike other ring sliding obstacles before it which had the ring wrapped around a track (e.g., Circle Slider, Gliding Ring and Ring of Fire), this obstacle consisted of one ring that is directly attached to a zip-line. The children competitors who would attempt this obstacle first had to hold onto the ring, then they have to slide the ring down the zip-line, and then time their release to reach the landing platform in order to advance.

Ninja Warrior Germany Kids's Hoop Omega (Ring-Rutsche)

The Hoop Omega, locally called Ring-Rutsche (literally Ring Slide) appeared in Ninja Warrior Germany Kids as the second obstacle in every Preliminary Round, and was very similar to the one used in Ninja Warrior Israel Junior.

Trivia[]

  • The obstacle is one of the few instances that are known to be created by an International Ninja Warrior/SASUKE format itself and is not based on obstacle replicas from other competitions such as American Ninja Warrior, SASUKE, and KUNOICHI.
    • This was also the only obstacle that are known to be created by an international Ninja Warrior Junior format itself and is not based on obstacle replicas from American Ninja Warrior Junior.
  • Like both the Boomerang Omega and the Bowling Omega on Ninja Warrior Israel 2, the obstacle borrows aspects from the UFO in Ninja Warrior UK 3.
  • The concept of this obstacle also very similar to the Boomerang Omega in this children spin-off competition, with the zipline track remaining the same.
