In Ninja Warrior Germany 8, the Hazard Cones appeared as the first obstacle in the Semi-finals. This time, all four cones were facing the same direction and were also installed at different angles compared to its appearance in the previous seasons. In addition, a suspended ring was installed after the fourth cone as a medium to make the transition to the inclined landing platform easier. Even though the obstacle proved to be relatively easy, as only 10 of the 81 participants who attempted it failed it, it still eliminated some promising names and even caused arguably one of the most shocking eliminations in the history of Ninja Warrior Germany, namely that of the Last Man Standing of Ninja Warrior Germany 7, Max Görner, who slipped off the fourth cone, causing him to undershoot the suspended ring.
