Hard Anchor (ハードアンカー) was an event introduced as the second event in the second tournament of Sports Danshi Grand Prix, which was a reboot version of the former Sportsman.
This event would appear in two Sports Danshi Grand Prix tournaments.

Sports Danshi Grand Prix 2[]
Two competitors compete in pairs must pull up a chained anchor with a total weight of 40kg and the top two with the fastest time will advance to the finals. The Finals was the head to head match, in which competitor who pull up the chained anchor first wins the event.
Sports Danshi Grand Prix 3[]
Two competitors compete in pairs must pull up a chained anchor with a total weight of 45kg. The format was changed to head to head match without the use of a timer, in which competitor who pull up the chained anchor first would move on to the next round, these rounds would occur until the final round to indicate the winner of the event.
