Hans Hertz is a high school student who first competed in American Ninja Warrior Junior.

American Ninja Warrior Junior[]

Hans first competed in Episode 2, where in the Seeding Round, he lost to Niko Stradtman. For the Knockout Round, though, he beat out Hattie Jones, and in the Final Showdown, faced Niko again, and ended up getting revenge, beating him out to advance in the Semifinals. In his first Semifinal battle, facing Addy Herman, he beat her out to advance to Part 2. In the Top 8, he lost to Kai Beckstrand, ending his season.

American Ninja Warrior 15[]

Hans made his ANW debut on the second round of qualifying. He had little troubles, completing the course with the 3rd fastest time, moving on to the semifinals. He later went against Jawon Turner in the first round of semifinals. The race was digested, and while Jawon fell on Slingshot, Hans completed the course and moved on to the national finals.

At the national finals, Hans made short work of Stage One, finishing with 39.49 seconds left. On Stage Two, he took on Flip Rodriguez. The race was digested and Flip quickly failed Jawbreakers, while Hans completed the course, winning the race and moving on to Stage Three. On Stage Three, his run was the only one to be digested. He almost failed the dismount of Road Signs with his hands slipping off the final sign, but he barely managed to make the landing, completing the course as a result and advancing to Stage Four. Unfortunately, he timed out at around 70 feet on Stage Four. He has the third best rookie performance in American Ninja Warrior history.

Hans was not chosen to compete in American Ninja Warrior 16.

Hans is set to compete in American Ninja Warrior 17.

Trivia[]

  • Alongside Ethan Bartnicki and Josh Levin, he is one of the few ninjas in American Ninja Warrior history to attempt Stage Four and then not get the call for the next season.
