Fuyuujima (浮遊島), was the last obstacle in the Second Stage for the first five KUNOICHI tournaments . It was consisted of eight floating logs (45cm in diameter and 120cm in width) that the competitor must cross in order to reach the finish buzzer. Competitors are allowed to use their hands to balance themselves. It was not attempted in KUNOICHI 1 due to the difficulty of preceding obstacles, nor was the time limit a factor in the obstacle during KUNOICHI 2 due to the time limit being reserved for the first two obstacles. Overall, the obstacle eliminated few competitors and was eventually replaced with a more dangerous obstacle, the Burandou .
