Frostbite is a team on American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja. The team consists of captain Nick "The Eskimo Ninja" Hanson, Jackson Meyer, and Zhanique Lovett. The name is a reference to Nick's home state, Alaska, and the level of frost throughout said state.
American Ninja Warrior Ninja Vs. Ninja[]
Frostbite made their first appearance in American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja, with Nick recruiting Jackson Meyer and Zhanique Lovett for the roster. They first competed in Episode 8 and went up against Team TNT in Round 1:
- Jackson won the first race against Brett Sims who fell on the Floating Tiles,
- Zhanique won the second race as she scaled the Warped Wall and hit her first buzzer,
- Nick won the third race as Travis Rosen failed to scale the Warped Wall.
Frostbite then moved on to face Phoenix Force in Round 2:
- Jackson lost the first race against Michael Torres,
- Zhanique won the second race as Cassie Craig fell on the Spin Cycle,
- Nick lost the third race against Najee Richardson,
- Frostbite did win the first relay race as Cassie fell on the Tick Tock and Najee fell on the Zig Zag Climb,
- But Frostbite lost the second relay race but after hitting the buzzer, Nick did help by massaging Najeeโs legs as he had cramps in them.
Frostbite did get to compete against the All-American Ninjas in Wildcard Episode 10:
- Jackson won the first race against Paul Hamm,
- Zhanique lost the second race against April Steiner Bennett,
- Nick Hanson did win the third race against Reko Rivera who fell on the Floating Tiles,
- Frostbite did win the relay race that followed and they moved on to the playoffs.
Frostbite competed in Episode 13 where they first went up against the LaBreckfast Club in Round 1:
- Nick Hanson won the first race against Chris DiGangi,
- Zhanique lost the second race against Jesse LaBreck,
- Jackson lost the third race against Jon Alexis Jr.,
- The team also lost the relay race as Nick fell on the Floating Tiles which landed a 5-second penalty on Jackson and the team was eliminated from the competition once again.
