This is the new first obstacle introduced in American Ninja Warrior 8 for the city course. It's similar to the Quintuple Steps used for 3 seasons, but the steps get higher and steeper. Many competitors including 2-time Vegas finalist Jonathan Sharp Brown have failed this obstacle, because they tried to rush through it and not take they time. Pinball Steps.
