In the Ninja Warrior Poland seasons, the First Stage, also known as Pierwszy Etap/Pierwszy Tor Finałowy in the Polish language, is serving as the first course of the finals of Ninja Warrior Poland, and a third course overall. As of present, Ninja Warrior Poland included seven different First Stages, with all of them however sharing one, singular goal: to press the button at the top of the final obstacle before the time expires, in order to advance to the sequential stage, the Second Stage.

Course Layout[]
The arrangement of individual types of obstacles in each season of Ninja Warrior Poland was practically the same. The first obstacle required competitors to run/jump through a series of steps of various shapes and descend to a landing platform. The second obstacle was always (as in qualifying) one that required a good grip, as it commonly competitors to slide down a downward banked track, often with large drop-offs, holding on to various elements, but there were occasional exceptions, such as in the second season, where obstacle no. 2 was Ring Swing. The third obstacle has always been the balance obstacle. The fourth obstacle has always been an obstacle requiring participants to jump over various suspended elements above the pool and then jump down to the landing platform. It always required a good grip, precision and agility. The fifth obstacle has always been more of a strength obstacle, requiring good grip and large hand movements. The sixth obstacle was always over four meters Warped Wall with three-attempt rule. The type of the seventh obstacle changed with some subsequent seasons, and now two types of obstacles appeared in the seventh position: power obstacles, requiring competitors to grab various elements or jump between them, and balance obstacles, which resulted in a total of two obstacles in the obstacle course obstacles that require a good balance. The eighth obstacle, like the seventh, varied in type from season to season, but always required good upper body strength as well as lower body strength. Occasionally, the 8th position obstacle required good leg and arm spacing between two parallel walls that had to be traversed (Jumping Spider or Body Prop, for example), and in some seasons, it required traversing suspended beams by gripping with arms and legs (Spider Flip or I-Beam Cross, for example). The ninth obstacle has always been a climbing obstacle, as the Chimney Climb always appeared in its position, with various modifications of this obstacle, such as Invisible Ladder or Rope Climb or the chimney itself.
Obstacles[]
Ninja Warrior Poland 1[]
In the first season of Ninja Warrior Poland, the design of stage one focused mainly on strength and speed. It consisted of the following obstacles: Quintuple Steps, Cannonball Drop, Spinning Bridge, Cargo Crossing, Window Hang, Warped Wall, Pole Grasper, Spider Jump and Chimney Climb. The time limit was equal to 4 minutes. The least than in any other season of Ninja Warrior Poland.
This version of the first stage turned out to be one of the most brutal, as only 4 competitors managed to complete the course in the allotted time, and the Window Hang eliminated as many as 9 competitors, which was a long-time record for the number of competitors eliminated by a single obstacle in the finals. This record was later broken.
Ninja Warrior Poland 2[]
Major changes have been made to stage one in Ninja Warrior Poland 2. The time limit has been raised to 4 minutes and 30 seconds (270 seconds). The following changes have been made to the layout of the course:
- The Cannonball Drop was replaced by the Ring Swing, which required more from the competitors than just a good grip, but also dynamics and a good swing
- The Spinning Bridge has been modified so that two additional spheres have been added to it, for a total of 5 spheres
- Pole Grasper has been moved from the seventh position to the position of the fifth obstacle
- Spider Jump has been replaced by Spider Flip
It is not known whether the producers wanted to increase the difficulty of the first stage this season, but unlike last season, eight competitors completed the course and advanced to the second stage.
