Current Final Stage intro (המידוריאמה) since Ninja Warrior Israel 5, with the current Final Stage logo (4 שלב) used since Ninja Warrior Israel 4

In the regular Ninja Israel seasons, the Final Stage, also known as 4 שלב (literally Level 4), or similar to the most International SASUKE/Ninja Warrior spin-off shows, also known as הר המידוריאמה (Mount Midoriyama) or simply המידוריאמה (Midoriyama) in Ninja Warrior Israel 5, is always serving as last of four stages in the Finals of Ninja Israel. As of now, Ninja Israel used only one version of the Final Stage, with this version having one singular goal: to climb the Mt. Midoriyama tower and press the button at the top before the time expires, in order to achieve the title of the "First Ninja Israel" and to achieve a cash prize of ₪250,000 and a SUV.

Format overview[]

Similar to American Ninja Warrior and most international SASUKE/Ninja Warrior formats, competitors must climb a 23.5m Rope Climb within a 30 second time limit. This time limit, in combination with all of the preceding exhaustion of the other stages, means that this stage would serve as the ultimate beast for the competitors who would make it this far. Apart from that, if there should be multiple finalists in one season and at least two of them would achieve Total Victory, the competitor who would complete the Final Stage in the better time would be declared as the winner of the entire season. This means that only the competitor with the perfect amount of speed, efficiency and endurance would have a realistic chance to complete this stage fast enough and to not only acheive Total Victory, but also the title "First Ninja Israel" plus a cash prize of ₪250,000 and a SUV.

The timer of this Final Stage would start immediately after the fourth acoustic signal (the starting signal) sounded, which was very similar to that of SASUKE.

Tower designs[]

Despite there being only one Final Stage with the exact same obstacle (which always had the exact same height of 23.5m) in all regular Ninja Israel seasons, there were two different designs of the Final Stage tower in total within the span of all five Ninja Israel seasons:

First design (Ninja Israel 1-2, Ninja Israel 5)[]

First Final Stage tower design, used in the first two seasons of Ninja Israel

The first Final Stage tower design was used in the first two season of Ninja Israel. The tower looked almost equal to the SASUKE 5 - SASUKE 17 tower, except for two differences that made the tower similar to American Ninja Warrior at the same time:

  • The finish platform was painted in sliver and not in red and did not feature the "GOAL" text,
  • Apart from that, there were also six LED-wall installations, with three screens on both sides of the inner halves of the metal construction of the tower. The actual function of these six LED-wall installations was that they would serve as a set timer, which would only be displayed if a competitor should attempt the Final Stage.
  • Unlike SASUKE, the hole in the finish platform was square-shaped hole instead of the normal circle-shaped hole.

This tower design later returned on Ninja Warrior Israel 5. However, similar to the second tower design in two previous seasons:

  • The tower now used golden light along with the first three stages in the Finals.
  • The hole in finish platform was changed to normal circle-shaped hole.

Second design (Ninja Israel 3-4)[]

On Ninja Warrior Israel 3 and Ninja Warrior Israel 4, the Final Stage tower has a new design. This new design of tower was very similar to the Final Stage in Shin-SASUKE era, which was mostly used in SASUKE (since SASUKE 18, except SASUKE 25), American Ninja Warrior and other international SASUKE/Ninja Warrior formats. However, unlike most versions which use the light for all steel rings, the steel rings in Ninja Israel's Final Stage tower were LED screens. The hole in finish platform was changed to the normal circle-shaped hole just like SASUKE. Also, the tower now uses golden light starting from Ninja Warrior Israel 3.

Different between each seasons[]

Ninja Israel[]

  • The timer shown in all six LED-wall installations was used to replaced the graphical timer shown in the TV screen, similar to the Final Stage in Ninja Warrior UK and Ninja Warrior Germany.
  • The hosts and commentators were stand under the Final Stage tower to watch competitor attempted Final Stage, similar to most international SASUKE/Ninja Warrior formats.

Ninja Israel 4 and Ninja Israel 5[]

  • Despite the LED-walls were not removed, there would now be a graphical timer shown on the TV screen like in SASUKE and most of the other International SASUKE/Ninja Warrior formats.
  • Host Assi Azar stand on the finish platform of the Final Stage tower to give the competitors the motivation and morale boost to complete the Final Stage tower and interview competitors, while co-host Rotem Sela and two commentators (Niv Raskin and Yarden Gerbi) were sit in the host and commentator podiums instead of stand under Final Stage tower, just like the Final Stage in SASUKE.
    • On Ninja Warrior Israel 5, Assi Azar sit in the host podium with Rotem Sela, while commentator Yuval Shemla replaced him stand on the finish platform of the Final Stage tower.
  • Like American Ninja Warrior, competitor who going first in Final Stage were decided randomly by production staffs. As a result, the producer decided Ishay Halfon going first instead of Yogev Malka, who going first in the Second Stage and Third Stage was going last in Final Stage, while Yuval Shemla, who was the last competitor attempt Second Stage and Third Stage in this season was decided to going second in Final Stage.

Trivia[]

  • Ninja Israel was the third national or international SASUKE/Ninja Warrior show that the Final Stage was touched in the first season, after SASUKE and SASUKE Ninja Warrior Indonesia.
  • With his second Final Stage attempt in Ninja Warrior Israel 5, Yogev Malka holds a national or international Ninja Warrior/SASUKE record for the fastest ever Rope Climb Final Stage clear, with him completing a 23.5-metre Rope Climb with a time of just 22.8 seconds, which would be 1 metre every 0.97 seconds.
    • In addition Malka now has the second most consecutive Total Victories in the history of national or international Ninja Warrior/SASUKE shows (only behind Miyake Ayako who achieved Kanzenseiha three consecutive times), with Malka achieving Total Victory in both Ninja Warrior Israel 4 and Ninja Warrior Israel 5, since the Final Stage was not modified in Ninja Warrior Israel 5, even after Shemla and Malka achieved their first Total Victories in the previous season, which resulted in Malka having more experience after his first Final Stage attempt.
  • Shneor Sameach became the youngest Total Victory of Ninja Israel and any other national or international SASUKE/Ninja Warrior show, as he cleared the Final Stage at the age of 16 years.
  • Ninja Israel is the first International SASUKE/Ninja Warrior show that has had double winners for two consecutive seasons, before American Ninja Warrior a year later.
    • In addition, in the history of all national or international Ninja Warrior/SASUKE shows, Ninja Israel is the second show (after KUNOICHI and also before American Ninja Warrior) ever to have had back-to-back Kanzenseiha seasons.
