Sugiyama Shinya (杉山 真也) is a TBS announcer. His debut as TBS announcer came in Sports Danshi Grand Prix 5, when he was #3 announcer, replaced Satō Fumiyasu. However, in Sports Danshi Grand Prix 6, Fumiyasu return as the #3 announcer, moving Shinya down to #4 announcer. This making Sports Danshi Grand Prix 6 was the first season of Sports Danshi Grand Prix that have four announcers instead of two or three announcers.
He later debut his SASUKE announcer carrer in SASUKE 32, when he replaced Itō Ryūsuke as the #2 announcer. In SASUKE 37, he moved to the #1 announcer, replacing Sato Fumiyasu, and Ogasawara Wataru returned as the #2 announcer.
He was also the #2 announcer in KUNOICHI 9 and KUNOICHI 10.
