The ExpendaBulls are a team on American Ninja Warrior's team ninja competition franchise. Captain Kevin Bull has been the only constant member throughout all the team's appearances. Other members have included Alan Connealy, Luci Romberg, Maggi Thorne, and Thaddeus Robeck. They made it all the way to the finals on Team Ninja Warrior before getting knocked out by the Lab Rats. The name is a reference to the "Expendables" thriller film franchise.
After Season 1 was over, the ExpendaBulls did not regroup for Team Ninja Warrior 2. Kevin became the captain of a new team called Team Grit, while Alan and Luci formed their own team, Flowmingo, with Alan as the captain. Neither team made it past the qualifying round.
Kevin Bull, however, revived the ExpendaBulls for American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja.
Team Ninja Warrior 1[]
The ExpendaBulls made their debut on Episode 3 of the first season of Team Ninja Warrior. They went up against Tré Amigoz, led by Tremayne Dortch, in Round 1:
- Alan Connealy lost the first race against Andrew Lowes,
- Luci won the second race against Cassandra Dortch who fell on the Log Grip, and
- In the Anchor run, Both Kevin Bull and Tremayne Dortch fell on the Dancing Stones, But Kevin Bull was the first to reach the obstacle therefore his team won the round.
In Round 2, The Expendabulls went up against Brent Steffensen's Team Alpha:
- Alan Connealy lost the first race to Evan Dollard,
- Luci fell on the Dancing Stones and lost the second race to Kacy Catanzaro,
- But Kevin Bull won the anchor run against Brent Steffensen,
- Brent and Kevin had a rematch in the sudden death race, but Kevin won as Brent fell on the Dancing Stones.
In the relay showdown, The Expendabulls went up against Stratis Faction, during the race, Ryan Stratis fell on the Dancing Stones which landed a 10-second penalty on Mike Bernardo. And even though it came down to the wire, Alan Connealy hit the buzzer about a second and a half before Bernardo did. This guaranteed the Expendabulls a spot in the finals.
The Expendabulls vs. Stratis Faction - Team Ninja Warrior - American Ninja Warrior
The Expendabulls competed in Episode 8 where they went up against Brian Arnold's Party Time in Round 1:
- Alan Connealy lost the first race against Jake Murray,
- Luci Romberg fell on the Swing Jump and lost against Jennifer Tavernier in the second race,
- In the anchor run, Kevin Bull and Brian Arnold were neck and neck but Kevin managed to beat Brian to the buzzer by 7/100's of a second
- They had a rematch in the sudden death race but Brian won the race.
In the Knockout round, The Expendabulls went up against Lab Rats:
- In the first race both Luci Romberg and Michelle Warnky both failed at 3 attempts on the Warped Wall, but Michelle reached the obstacle first, therefore, Luci lost the race,
- Alan Connealy lost the second race against Chris Wilczewski, and
- Kevin Bull lost the anchor run against Brian Wilczewski, therefore the team was eliminated from the competition.
The ExpendaBulls did not return for Team Ninja Warrior 2. Kevin became the captain of a new team called Team Grit, with Lance Pekus and Maggi Thorne, while Alan and Luci formed their own team, Flowmingo, with Alan as the captain. Neither team made it past the qualifying round.

American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja[]
After choosing not to bring the team back for Team Ninja Warrior 2 and instead choosing to captain a new team called Team Grit, Kevin Bull reformed the ExpendaBulls for the third year of team ninja competitions, which saw Team Ninja Warrior re-branded as American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja. Maggi Thorne was carried over to the ExpendaBulls from Team Grit, while Thaddeus Robeck was recruited as the third member. This revamped team first competed in Episode 7 where they went up against The Lizard Kings in Round 1:
- Kevin Bull lost the first race against Kyle Soderman who got ahead of Kevin on the Criss Cross Ring Toss and took and early dismount,
- Maggi Thorne won the second race as her opponent Sarah Schoback fell on the Floating Tiles,
- But Thaddeus Robeck lost the third race against Hunter Guerard, and
- In the relay, Kevin fell at the Floating Tiles resulting in a 5-second penalty on Thaddeus. Then Thaddeus fell at the Flying Shelf Grab and the team was eliminated from the competition.
