Erica Cook is a personal trainer who competed in two seasons of American Ninja Warrior.
American Ninja Warrior[]
American Ninja Warrior 8[]
She first competed in Atlanta in American Ninja Warrior 8 where she fell on the Spin Cycle in qualifying. Even though she did not qualify for the semi-finals, she was selected as a wildcard in the national finals, where she failed the Giant Log Grip in Stage One.
It was announced on social media that due to a knee injury that she got during Team Ninja Warrior 2, the producers decided to call her for a spot in Denver instead of Daytona Beach for American Ninja Warrior 9 in order to accommodate for her recovery. However, since it was still less than 8 months since her operation, she had to decline her invite for that season as she would have been at risk of re-injury.[1]
American Ninja Warrior 10[]
After sitting out the previous season, she returned in American Ninja Warrior 10 in Miami. Her qualifying run was cut, but it was revealed that she failed the Ring Turn and didn't make the women's top 5.
She was not selected for American Ninja Warrior 11 but was a course tester for Atlanta.
A few days prior to the filming of American Ninja Warrior 14, she announced her retirement from the show.[2]
Other Appearances[]
Prior to competing on the regular season, the first competed on Team Ninja Warrior as a member of the Real Life Beasts. Even though she fell on the Dancing Stones in the first two of her races, she successfully scaled the Warped Wall and hit the buzzer during her third race.
Erica also competed as part of the Real Life Beasts in Team Ninja Warrior 2. However, during the finals, she injured her knee and had to be replaced.
She did return to compete on James McGrath's team, Beasts from the East in American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja. Her record was 5-5.
