Emma Pereyra is a high school student from Bradenton, Florida who calls herself the Overcomer Ninja. She's also the girlfriend of fellow anw competitor Phil Folsom.
American Ninja Warrior 15[]
Emma first competed in the last qualifier on ANW 15. She made short work of the first three obstacles, but ended up failing the Kite Surfer. She still placed 3rd among the women, and advanced to the semifinals.
She later went up against Jeri D'Aurelio on the final round of semifinals. The race was digested, and Jeri failed on the Beehive, while Emma made it to Slingshot, moving on to the national finals as a rookie.
On Stage One, her run was digested, but she was one of the many to fail the Jumping Spider.
American Ninja Warrior 16[]
Emma returned for her sophomore season on ANW 16. She participated in the last qualifier, where her run was digested, but she surprisingly failed the third obstacle, Dangerous Waters. She placed 4th among the women, which led her to a runoff race against her coach, Caitlyn Bergstrom-Wright, who placed 5th among the women.
During the runoffs, it was a very close match, with Emma having the lead early on. At the end of the match however, Caitlyn reigned victorious, taking the lead and hitting the buzzer before Emma did.
American Ninja Warrior 17[]
Emma returned for her third season in American Ninja Warrior 17. She participated in the first qualifier, where her run was digested, but this time around she failed the fifth obstacle, Battering Ram. She placed 14th overall and once again advanced to the semifinals.
She later competed in the first semifinals episode. Her run was once again digested, but she ended up falling on the third obstacle Block Run, ending her season.
Emma is set to compete in American Ninja Warrior 18 along with her boyfriend Phil.
