Emily Gardiner is a college student, who first competed in American Ninja Warrior Junior 3.
American Ninja Warrior Junior 3[]
Emily first competed in American Ninja Warrior Junior 3. Competing against Emme Smith in the Seeding Round, she made it through the first four obstacles, but fell on the Spinball Wizard, losing the Seeding Round. For the second race, the Knockout Round, she lost to Phil Folsom. She did not move on.
American Ninja Warrior 15[]
Emily made her debut on the big course in American Ninja Warrior 15 at the age of 16, competing alongside her dad Rich Gardiner. She ran as the first competitor of the season, and she put up an impressive run, managing to make it all the way to the fifth obstacle, Lasso Launch, before falling. She placed 3rd among the women, directly advancing her to the semifinals. In the semifinals, although she and her idol Michelle Warnky-Buurma both failed Hopscotch, Emily got there first and advanced to Vegas. At the national finals, she was the first runner. However, she was very slow on the first part of the course, but became one of the few women to ever complete the Jumping Spider. Ultimately, she did not have enough time to finish and she fell on The Gambler as time was running out.
American Ninja Warrior: Women's Championship 4[]
Emily then competed in the fourth Women's Championship. In the first round, her run was digested, but she got revenge on The Gambler. She then missed two tries on the Warped Wall, before getting up on her third attempt. She ultimately ended up failing on the final obstacle, Thread the Needle and her time to that point unfortunately wasn't fast enough to advance to the second round, as she placed 11th.
American Ninja Warrior 16[]
Emily returned for her sophomore season in the sixth qualifier. Her run was digested, but this time around she failed the fourth obstacle, Heavy Metal. She still placed 3rd among the women and advanced to the semifinals.
In the semifinals she faced against Taylor Johnson. The race was digested, but they both failed on Sideways, and since Taylor made it to the obstacle first, Emily lost the race and didn't advance to the national finals this time around.
American Ninja Warrior 17[]
Emily returned for her third season in the third qualifier. She was once again shown as the first runner of the episode where she got past the fourth obstacle, which was Crank It Up, before she once again failed on the fifth obstacle, falling on V Formation. She still placed 15th overall and once again advanced to the semifinals.
She returned for the final round of the semifinals. Her run there was digested, but she got her revenge on V Formation, was also able to get up her first Warped Wall becoming the thirty-fifth woman to do so, and was able to get to Corkscrew before falling. Unfortunately due to her slow pace to the obstacle, she didn't place in the woman's top 3 and her season ended in the semifinals for the second straight season.
American Ninja Warrior: Women’s Championship 5[]
Emily then competed in the fifth Women's Championship. In the first round, Emily was the first competitor shown to complete the course, hitting her first buzzer on the main show and she moved on to the second round in 6th place. In the second round, Emily raced against Rachel Degutz and she lost the race after she failed on the Salmon Ladder while Rachel failed on the Floating Monkey Bars, eliminating her from the competition.
Emily is set to compete in American Ninja Warrior 18.
