Dorian Cedars is an entrepreneur and stuntman living in Studio City, California who competed on the first six seasons of American Ninja Warrior.

American Ninja Warrior 1[]

He first competed on American Ninja Warrior 1. His run in qualifying was digested, but it was shown that he cleared the course in 39.7 seconds, placing 9th overall and moving on to the semi-finals. However, despite his strong performance in qualifying, in the semi-finals, he was unable to scale the Warped Wall in all five attempts, despite beating it in qualifying. He placed 28th overall and did not move on to the finals, being one of just three competitors to fail the front half of the course. It was later revealed on the next season that he was running on a torn bicep, which affected his performance.

American Ninja Warrior 2[]

He returned to compete on American Ninja Warrior 2. In qualifying, he preformed well, despite sustaining an ankle injury on the Bridge of Blades, which later affected him on other obstacles such as the Spider Jump, clearing in 18th place. In the semi-finals, his run was digested, but despite his injury, he managed to clear the entire course, placing 9th overall.

However, he struggled in the Boot Camp due to his injured ankle having not healed up yet, struggling on obstacles such as the Balance Tank and Warped Wall. On the second day, he put himself up for elimination on the Heavenly Ropes, in which neither he or Patrick Cusic could reach the top. However, since Cusic higher than him, he was eliminated, placing 14th overall.

American Ninja Warrior 3[]

In American Ninja Warrior 3, he competed again despite having rotator cuff surgery just 8 weeks prior. His run was all cut, but he managed to make it all the way to the Jumping Bars, where he skipped the last bar, but was shockingly disqualified after his foot tapped the water at the dismount, not making it back to Boot Camp, let alone the semi-finals.

American Ninja Warrior 4[]

Dorian

He competed again on American Ninja Warrior 4 in the Southwest region. In qualifying, he finished the qualifying course in 9th place. In the semi-finals, his run was digested, but he punched his first ever ticket to Mt. Midoriyama, as he completed the course in 8th place.

In the national finals, on Stage One, despite clearing the first five obstacles with ease, it took him three attempts to make it up the Warped Wall. Unfortunately, while he did completely make it through Stage One, he timed out by approximately 0.7 seconds, making a memorable last-second leap for the buzzer, ending his season.

American Ninja Warrior 5[]

He competed again on American Ninja Warrior 5 in Denver with his whole family from Colorado watching him on the sidelines. In qualifying, he had little trouble on the first five obstacles, although he had a near fall on the Rotating Bridge. However, much like American Ninja Warrior 1's semi-finals, he shockingly could not get up the Warped Wall in all three attempts (albeit under normal circumstances this time around). Unfortunately, due to the record-breaking 48 clears that night, it was not good enough to advance to the city finals, let alone the national finals.

American Ninja Warrior 6[]

He competed again on American Ninja Warrior 6 in Venice. His run in qualifying was digested, but he was able to get up the Warped Wall this time around and make the top 30, placing 15th. In the city finals, he failed Cannonball Alley, like many others that night. Fortunately, his time to that point was good enough to earn him a spot in the Las Vegas national finals once again, as he placed 7th.

In the national finals, his run was digested, but he was one of many to fall on the Silk Slider.

He has not competed since, although he applied for American Ninja Warrior 7, American Ninja Warrior 8, American Ninja Warrior 10, and American Ninja Warrior 11, but was not selected. He was also a tester for the Military special course in American Ninja Warrior 7 and a primary tester for American Ninja Warrior 13. Despite rumors stating he competed in American Ninja Warrior 14, he actually did not compete on nor apply for that season either, having working behind the scenes with the designers.[1]

Trivia[]

  • He was a national champion all-star cheerleader and collegiate cheerleader for the University of Colorado.
  • He has been flying airplanes since the age of 2.
