Dan Yager is a Hair Salon Owner from Fort Collins, CO. Yager is an adoptee who was originally born in South Korea. He currently trains commonly with the Wolfpack Ninjas.
American Ninja Warrior 7[]
Dan first competed in Kansas City in American Ninja Warrior 7. his run in Qualifying was cut but he cleared the course with the 8th fastest time. In the city finals, he was one of the many competitors that failed the 9th obstacle the Body Prop Dan did place 14th and moved on to the national finals. On Stage One, his run was cut but he finished with 27.50 seconds remaining. In Stage Two, he was one of 12 competitors that failed Roulette Row. He, along with Daniel Gil and Mike Meyers, were the top rookies that season.
American Ninja Warrior 8[]
Yager returned to compete in Indianapolis in American Ninja Warrior 8. His run in Qualifying was cut but he finished the course with the 4th fastest time. In the city finals, his run was digested but it was shown that he shockingly ended his season when he failed the Rolling Log, not advancing to the national finals.
American Ninja Warrior 9[]
In American Ninja Warrior 9, it was revealed that after two seasons of being broadcasted on ANW, he was able to be reunited with his biological father. Dan was one of only eight athletes to have completed the Denver qualifying course, which he ended up holding the 2nd fastest time of the night behind Lorin Ball. In the city finals, he failed the Wedge but placed 6th and moved on to Vegas. On Stage One he shockingly failed the Double Dipper.
American Ninja Warrior 10[]
Yager competed in Minneapolis in American Ninja Warrior 10. His run in qualifying was digested but it was shown that he shockingly was one of 38 competitors who failed the Ring Jump. This was the first time that he failed on a qualifying course, and didn't make the top 30.
American Ninja Warrior 11[]
Yager competed in Tacoma on American Ninja Warrior 11. His run in qualifying was digested but it was shown he surprisingly failed the Mega Wall, but still placed 19th out of 30th place. In the semi finals, he was briefly shown after the Floating Monkey Bars and was able to beat it. He failed the 9th obstacle however, but he was only 1 out of 3 to attempt the 9th obstacle and made far enough fast enough to placed 1st overall. He went against Karson Voiles on the Power Tower, unfortunately, he slowed down after he missed a monkey bar and later on gave up after that causing Voiles to win. Dan's run was all cut, but he was able to pass the Double Dipper this time, but failed the next obstacle the Jumping Spider.
