The Daichoyaku has been the first obstacle in KUNOICHI's second stage for all eight tournaments. Along with the Enchū Nori, it is the only obstacle to appear in all eight tournaments.
It's difficulty has varied, being unbeatable in KUNOICHI 1 and easy from KUNOICHI 3-5 with no failures at all before taking out a single competitor in KUNOICHI 6 and simple again in KUNOICHI 7, However, because of the large number of 35 competiors clearing the first stage in KUNOICHI 8 the Daichoyaku was equipped with wheels to make it more unpredictable, which lead to many Daichoyaku failures in the Second stage.
